What a workspace contains
A workspace owns:- All saved inspirations and generations
- All brand kits and brand assets
- All Studio projects
- Its member list, roles, and invites
- Its billing plan and credit balance
Creating a workspace
When you sign up, Memo creates one automatically. You can create additional workspaces at any time — one for personal work, one per client, one per project. Free plan limits you to 1 owned workspace. Pro removes the limit. When to use multiple workspaces
- Different clients or teams who shouldn’t see each other’s content
- Personal experiments separate from client work
- A specific project that needs its own brand kit, library, and member list
- Trying out Memo with a small team before rolling it out broadly
Joining a workspace
Someone shares an invite link — via email, Slack, or direct message. Each invite shows the workspace name, logo, and the role you’ll be assigned. If you already have a Memo account
- Click the invite link
- See the workspace details — name, logo, your assigned role
- Click Accept Invite
- “You’re In!” — redirected to the workspace dashboard
If you’re new to Memo
- Click the invite link
- Click Sign in to Accept
- Create an account (email or Google)
- You’re returned to the invite page — accept in one tap
What happens after
- You’re added as a member with the role from the invite
- The workspace appears in your workspace switcher (bottom-right pill on every screen)
- You can immediately see all content in that workspace
- You don’t lose access to any other workspaces you belong to
Switching between workspaces
The workspace pill in the bottom-right of every screen shows where you are. Click it to see all your workspaces and switch instantly — the view re-renders with the new workspace’s content.Roles

Tips
- Free plan: 2 seats. You and one collaborator. Pro gets 10.
- The workspace URL is permanent. Auto-generated from the name at creation, can’t be changed — because that would break any links you’ve shared.
- Invites don’t expire. Accept weeks later, as long as the admin hasn’t cancelled.
- You can be in multiple workspaces. Joining one doesn’t remove you from any other.
