The Members view is the single place to see everyone in your workspace and everyone you’ve invited. It lives at Manage Workspaces → Members — joined members at the top, pending invites below. Only admins and owners can invite or change roles. Editors and viewers see the same list without management actions.

Inviting a member

  1. Open the workspace pill (bottom-right) → Manage Workspaces
  2. You’re on the Members tab by default
  3. Click Invite Member
  4. Enter email and pick a role (Viewer, Editor, or Admin — Owner can’t be assigned)
  5. Click Create Invite
What happens:
  • An invite email is sent, branded with your workspace name and logo
  • A success card shows the invite link in a copyable code box — share via Slack or DM if you prefer
  • The invite appears in Pending invites
  • A seat is consumed immediately, even before they accept
Click Invite another in the success card to send a second invite without closing the modal.

Pending invites

Below joined members, admins see Pending invites (n) — each row shows:
  • The invitee’s email and assigned role
  • A Copy link button (brief checkmark feedback on copy)
  • A trash icon to cancel the invite and free the seat
The section disappears when all invites have been accepted.

Changing a role

  1. Find the member in the list
  2. Click their role badge — it becomes a dropdown
  3. Pick a new role
  4. Confirm in the modal (it explains what the new role can do)
You can’t change the owner’s role or your own. Admins can promote/demote editors and viewers but can’t promote anyone to admin — only the owner can.

Removing a member

  1. Find the member
  2. Click the kebab menu (⋮)
  3. Click Remove from workspace
  4. Confirm
Access revoked immediately. You can’t remove yourself — ask the owner to remove you if needed.

Tips

  • Inviting an existing member returns a clear error. No stale duplicates.
  • No resend button — cancel the pending invite and create a new one. Takes about 4 seconds.
  • Email failures don’t block invites. The link still works. Share it directly if the email didn’t arrive.
  • Pending invites count against seats. At the cap? Cancel old invites or upgrade.

Troubleshooting

The invite email never arrived. Check spam. If not there, copy the link from Pending invites and send directly. “This user is already a member of the workspace.” They’re already in. Check the Members section above the invite form. “There is already a pending invite for this email.” You’ve already invited them. Find the pending invite, copy the link, resend directly. Seat limit error when inviting. All seats used (including pending invites). Cancel a pending invite or upgrade your plan.
